Iris was a hard one for me to name! Normally a name just pops into my head when I see the finished yarn, this time I had to reach out to Social Media for some help. I got some great suggestions, but then I saw @knitlifeoils suggestion of Iris, I knew I had a winner. She said- “iris, Because an Iris is both blue and purple at the same time. I gasped when I saw this!”

Dyeing: New Garden Yarns uses color fast acid dyes on all our yarns. My yarns are all hand dyed by me in my dye studio in Excelsior Springs, MO. Yarns are usually dyed in groups of three or four and I do my best to ensure consistency in each batch, however, there may be some variation even with yarn dyed in the same pan. Skeins will be siblings, rather than twins, so it is recommended you order enough for a project in one order for best results. I recommend alternating skeins every other row of knitting to even out any differences.
Care: Machine or Hand wash cool with wool wash, Lay flat to dry.
