When naming and creating hand dyed yarn color-ways, I sometime have a definite plan, other times I’m just seeing what comes with play. This was definitely one of those play times! And when I pulled it out of the rinse sink, my first thought was Blackberry Jam! Shades of wine red, greys, and lavender.

Care: Hand wash cool with wool wash, Lay flat to dry.
Dyeing: New Garden Yarns uses color fast acid dyes on all our yarns. My yarns are all hand dyed by me in my dye studio in Excelsior Springs, MO.  Yarns are usually dyed in groups of three and I do my best to ensure consistency in each batch, however, there will be some variation even within a dye lot. Skeins will be siblings, rather than twins, so it is recommended you order enough for a project in one order for best results. I strongly recommend alternating skeins every other row of knitting to even out any differences.
